Ang Amazon rainforest ay ang pinakamalaking rainforest sa buong mundo na nagbabahagi ng mahigit 20 percent of oxygen sa ating kapaligiran kaya nga tinatawag din itong Lungs of the Earth. Ito ay tinitirahan at pinamumugaran ng iba't ibang uri ng hayop. Mahigit siyam na bansa ang nagmamay-ari sa kalupaang nasasakupan ng Amazon rainforest. Kasama na rito ang brazil na mayroong pinakamalaking bahagi na umaabot sa 58.4%. Ang ibang walong bansa ay ang sumusunod: Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname, French Guyana, and Ecuador.

Itong nakaraang linggo lamang ay kumalat sa social media ang balitang nasusunog diumano ang Amazon rainforest. Dahil dito maraming netizens ang nababahala sa maaring masamang maidulot nito sa maraming buhay. Dahil sa pagkasunog maaari raw na magkaroon ng massive climate change due to possibility of increasing carbon in the earth's atmosphere. May mga haka-haka rin na baka ito na nga ang katuparang nasusulat sa Pahayag 8:7.

Ito ang sabi sa Pahayag 8:7, Hinipan ng unang anghel ang kaniyang trumpeta. Bumagsak ang graniso at apoy na may kahalong dugo. Inihagis ito sa lupa. Ika-tatlong bahagi ng mga punong-kahoy ang nasunog at lahat ng sariwang damo ay nasunog.

Hindi naman natin hinahangad ang bagay na ito o ano mang mga bagay na nakasulat sa Biblia ngunit ito'y Pahayag ng Diyos kay propeta Juan na ang mga Bagay na ito ay mangyayare sa darating na panahon. Hindi kaya ito na ang panahong sinasabi sa aklat ng pahayag?

Nawa ay buksan natin ang ating isip at puso sa pagtanggap sa ating Panginoon Hesus dahil magkagayon man bagamat hindi natin hinahangad wala tayong ibang matatakbuhan kundi ang Diyos lamang. Tanggapin mo ang Panginoong Hesus sa oras na ito at sumunod sa kaniya dahil walang ibang daan patungo sa kaligtasan kundi Siya lamang. Ipanalangin po natin ang Amazonas.
