"Pinakbet Chips" (Bringing our Native Cuisine into Snacks) is our Flagship product that will solve the oversupply of vegetables and reduce the post-harvest problems in the community. Hence, helping our fellow farmers to aspire more in engaging on the continuous vegetable production, Quinit added.

Padilla used the grant assistance he received amounting PHP50,000 to procure machineries for making Pinakbet chips.

Padilla said on the interview of Philippine News Agency with the machine he bought, they can able to produce 150 packs of 100 grams Pinakbet Chips a week. Which they sold for PHP45.00 to PHP75.00 wholesale prices.

Padilla's innovation really survive the farmers for leaving in farming. According to him some of the farmers prefer to work in construction than in field for they believe that it may give them more income than farming. This is due to oversupply of veggies in the market leading to lower prices.
